Star Trek into the darkness poster

I haven’t seen the Star Trek firth film (2009). I went to the cinema by my best friend’s insistence. She told me the firth film liked very much and she suspected the second one was better. My best friend never makes mistakes so I went to the cinema with her the Premier day (in Spain).

Firth thing that called my attention was this poster. A man with evil face.

Star Trek into the darkness poster

The men who are speaking about, is the commander John Harrison accused of terrorism and suspected of high treason. The character is performed by Benedict Cumberbath who is the star in last Sherlock Holmes TV series and it produced by the prestigious BBC. The Star Trek character performed is based on a character from the original saga. So I don’t want to do “spoilers” I won’t to say the name, but I can say the change is radical, as screenplay as both actors look like. Passing from a corpulent man dark-skinned, who shows a part of his chest, conqueror of territories and women as “Alpha Macho”, as my friend says. We pass to another man, thin, pale and wore until neck. Judging by the girls claps listened behind us on the cinema, and some comments read on the Internet, the second version character is not less seductive that the firth one… probably more.

The John Harrison character is a cold seductive, the illumination, the clothes even the way to be sit. Everything has been designed to transmit coldness. His apparently coldness to go into pieces when he starts to speak. Benedict Cumberbath performs an extremely passionate man, irate, sacrifice and loyal to his feelings. That thing call me attention specially, he doesn’t hide his weakness it’s very strange for a film villain! Our perverse command doesn’t obey to the “cold and calculating” role. He’s calculating, yes he is but… cold person? Not at all.

benedict cumberbatch

John Harrison feels alone and he’s scared at the possibility to be really alone. For avoit it is willing to do anything to stand all it necessary. It’s interesting how he use his owns weaknesses to attract empathy who are listening him for use them. It’s really effective method exactly because his feelings are true. This can get it believable the Benedict Cumberbath performance with director’s help who makes a lot of face-shots of his actors. John Harrison is a sentimental but a perverse sentimental. He use his own feelings for the others understand him but to a certain extent. He’s haughty, doesn’t want others see him to cry. I admit he gets to dupe me!. Really, I felt so sorry him…!

John Harrison is a perfect kill-machine he hasn’t any kind of ethics, he’s physically and psychological a perfect was tool. A man with his capabilities can change the war course to include the balance to one side or another. A man like him can be finish well. Someone can be a genius but if isn’t had power into the society where it is been living always by others will be used, envious of his talent.

John Harrison is probably a man educated by and for the violence, it’s not strange he is a vengeful. He posses an infectious wrath that infects other film characters; it’s dangerous speaking with him, being near to him, is dangerous for the soul. This is the reason because Benedict Cumberbath is the Star Trek’s poster and the film it calls “Star Trek into darkness”. Making an interview to the U.S. channel, the film director, that he had censured a Beneditc scene taking the shower without apparently reason, he only could say: – It’s the evil shower-. Actually John Harrison acts like a demon corrupting the people’s souls he has around.

Star Trek into the darkness poster

Riconosco che a me mi imbrogliò, realmente mi diede pena.

Final Fantasy III – Eternal Spirits of Wind

The Evil power of underworld

The Evil power of the underworld

One day, a sudden, massive earthquake struck, shaking the bowels of the earth into complete darkness. Four magic crystals, which had been maintaining the earth’s balance up until then, were lost, and buried deep beneath the earth. The evil elements of the earth, which had been kept down until then, came to life, and humanity was thrown into a living hell on earth.

Narrador 2 – Followind the wind

Following the Wind

The windy city, Ur. The damage from the earthquake that occurred here was relatively slight. Most of the people were convinced that the wind crystal must be living in the underworld and protecting them…and they were right. One day the wind crystal arose from the underworld and chose four youths to find the remaining three crystals that would save the world. Off on their journey, the youths ventured forth; and, as a soft breeze whistled gently through the trees, the group of four strained their ears to hear hopes, dreams, desires. The wind spoke of all, and the four valiant youths listened sympathetically to the wind, believing that in return, the wind crystal would shower them with light again.

Narrator 3 – Montage

Montage

For the four valiant youths, this mission was a novel experience, and each of them was overflowing with curiosity. Everything they saw appeared extraordinary, yet they were completely void of fear. Thoughts of ghosts and evil powers didn’t even enter their minds. They felt as if they could journey on like this forever, traveling to the outer reaches of the universe.

Roaming Sheep

Esta también es tema de Dido.

Lyrics Roaming sheep in search of the place

You’ve never known

Listen to the wind

Until you can hear the sign

Roaming sheep the front of the gate

That’s closed so tight

Take a rest on the earth

Until you can find the key

Roaming sheep in search of the people

Full of love

Bathe yourself in the water

Until your mind’s soothed again

Roaming sheep in front of the deep

And dreamless sleep

Here you’re by the fire

Able to warm your heart

Each and every moment

Oh, as time goes by

All in this world has to change

Roaming sheep in search of the place

You’ve never known

Better take your breath

Until you can hear the sign

Roaming sheep in search of the place

You’ve never seen

Better watch your step

Until you can find the key

Roaming sheep in search of the place

You may never reach

Better love yourself

Tomorrow’s another day

Their Spiritual Leader

Sometimes the four valiant youths thought they heard the wind calling softly to them…and they really did. When the four youths were feeling depressed and at a loss for where to turn next, the wind’s voice encouraged them to keep trying. When they were lost and didn’t know which way to turn, the wind gently led them in the right direction. While the four youths suspected the wind was helping them, little did they know that the great Doga was also watching over them.

The breezeAre we strangers in this place?

Looking for a place unknown?

We’re just leaning on the breeze…

Saying not to give it up…

Can we find the truth behind us,

When the long journey ends? Are we wrapped in mysteries?

Walking down the winding roads?

Can we find the reason why we are

In this world of trials? Here comes the breeze, that’s whispering in peace

So full of lights, shining in colors

Don’t be afraid, just keep on trying in your way

And you will see how all is sight…Are we strangers in this place?

Reaching out for dreams unknown?

Now we feel our minds are flying high

In this world of libertyHere comes the breeze that’s whispering again

So full of lights shining in colors

Listen to me, just keep on trying in your way

Get the courage to open the door and soon you’ll be free…

Narrator 5 – Ebb and Flow

Ebb and Flow (narration)

In any legend, there are a variety of contrasting emotions: love and hate, courage and fear, joy and pain. The youths, in search of the remaining crystals, also experienced these opposing sentiments. Yet while their journey read like any story of old, the ending was very different; for the youths, rather than finding the crystals and saving the world, found themselves utterly hopeless.

Narrador 6 – Rebirth

Rebirth (narration)

It is when one thinks one knows everything there is to know about the earth that God snarls in the face of such fools. In this world, God will show only those overflowing with curiosity and expectations a small portion of Her kingdom. Those select few will thus eventually be able to find the light at the end of their tunnel–or, in this case, the light that will save the world, thus reminding them just how divine God really is.

If it is necessary to choose a CD as the most strange  (the competence is hard) the prize would win it this one.

Almost all the topics begin with a narrator, and then melodies are sounding to everyone stranger. They are only seven topics but in each one it(he,she) contains musical very different. There are no topics in orchestra.

In spite of the critique not being very known in general it has it very well considered (I included), only they throw  it in face to have a too long narrator but for the one that is learning English it is perfect.

It is one of my favorite discs. In my opinion and of a collaborator it is one of the best of the saga but I do not believe that there is unanimity in this topic.

Certainly in the libretto says that the feminine soloist is at all more and nothing less than Dido!

Final Fantasy IV – Celtic Moon

«Welcome to our Town!«.
Dancing Calcobrena
Mystic Mysidia
Illusionary world
Rydia

Recommended to: who doesn’t mind having a good composition and a good headache  (maybe I am maniatic).

I don’t like this CD. It has been considered it one of the best but I can’t avoid it, I don’t like. Produce me headache.  I have to accept it has one of the best themes of the Final Fantasy saga soundtracks «Theme of Love» known as «Rose’s Theme», that’s strange this is not the theme which can represent this CD moreover it is the only one song doesn’t produce headache

The Final Fantasy IV Celtic Moon is considered it a Masterpiece in all World, everybody love it… except me.

For me, the problem of this CD is always are playing the same people with the same instruments, this is the reason that CD sounds me repetitive.

Under my humble point of view can be eared it: «The prologue»,»Theme of Love», «Rydia»,  «llusionary World» and probably also «Troian Beauty».

The Prologue can be listened it quite well, but I like more the Piano Collections version.

Chococbo-chcocobo is for chocobo music lovers, so…  it is not for me.

«Into the darkness» beautiful but it’s but 2/3 song parts exceed so it’s  a headache.

Main Theme of Final Fantasy IVwas rewritten with a remix sound and the theme was destroyed. It is the firth time Uematsu allow this kind of errors and.. the last one. Main Theme of Final Fantasy IV is one of the best themes of the all saga. I can’t understand what’s happened! really I can’t understand it.

Welcome to our Town is really beautiful but it’s too much “celtic” for my taste.

Medody of Lute sheet and beautiful but if you listen it too much you can have a big headache.

Parom & Polom   Easy too explainI hate it!

Giotto, the Great King I have to say exactly the same than the last one.
